Umbralchema

Umbralchema is a 2D side-scrolling puzzle game intended for PC players who like puzzles and simple platforming. 

You take on a journey as a mysterious alchemist who borns from a shadow.  The game features a simple pixel art style with minimal black and white (and gray)  pallete.  Each levels have multiple rooms with different puzzles and items you can utilize to progress to the next room. And there may be a secret hidden waiting to be uncovered to learn more about the world.  

With the player's ability to "shadeshift", dashing into the darkness with great speed, and their knowledge in alchemy skill involving mixing a variety of potions,  you will have to jump, dash, throw potions and solve puzzles in order to reach the unknown destination.

Controls:

• Move left: A
• Move right: D
• Jump: Space
• Shadeshift: Shift (+ either of the WASD keys)
• Use potion: F
• Cycle potion: Q and E
• Pause: ESC

PS: The game only features only 1 level as a sort of demo for the game jam. Stay tuned for later update!
